What is the function of Proforma Invoice?

Proforma Invoice usually includes the name of the goods, quantity, price, payment method, shipping and so on, but the seller has no contractual liability.

1. As a formal offer or as a reference price;

2. So that the buyer can do some necessary preparation in advance, if he wanted to get import license for purchasing the goods;

3. Notify the buyer of goods,which will be shipped to cope with the amount;

4. Invoice is not a commercial invoice, but its content in the form of invoices in a large extent is the same as the commercial invoice.
